A simple, economical and very tasty recipe. The crispy potato base filled with a juicy, spicy filling can be a real family favorite for lunch or dinner.
🛒 Ingredients
For the potato base:
800 g potatoes (3–5 pieces)
100 g grated carrots or chopped red peppers
1 small onion
1 bunch of parsley
2 tablespoons flour (40 g)
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
spices to taste
a little oil
For the filling:
3 red and 2 green peppers
2 cloves of garlic
1 tomato (optional)
200 g white meat (chicken or turkey)
1 small onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chili or hot pepper
100 g grated cheese (optional)
👩🍳 Preparation
1️⃣ Preparing the potatoes
Grate the potatoes and put them in cold water for a few minutes. Then drain thoroughly.
Add the eggs, grated carrots/peppers, chopped onions, parsley, flour and salt. Mix thoroughly.
2️⃣ Baking the potato base
Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease it with a little oil.
Spread the mixture evenly on it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Leave to cool, then remove the baking paper.
3️⃣ Preparing the filling
Simmer the chopped onion in a little oil until translucent.
Add the diced meat and cook until it turns white.
Then add the chopped peppers and spices.
Add a little water if necessary, then simmer under a lid until soft.
When the meat is tender, stir in the grated cheese and chopped tomatoes.
4️⃣ Shaping and Filling
Turn the baked potato sheet over and cut it into 6 pieces.
Fill it with the meat mixture, then roll it up or fit two pieces together and fill it.
5️⃣ Final baking
Sprinkle the top with a little grated cheese and put it back in the oven for another 15 minutes until it melts nicely.

It is best served warm, with a fresh salad or yogurt sauce.
